Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of rehabilitation programs based on exercise risk stratification in patients with chronic heart failure combined with frailty. Methods: From January to December 2023, 104 patients with chronic heart failure combined with frailty were selected as the study subjects. Based on the random number table method, the patients were divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 52 cases. The control group received conventional cardiac rehabilitation training, while the observation group received a rehabilitation program based on exercise risk stratification in addition to the control group's intervention. After a 3-month intervention, the two groups were compared in terms of exercise fear, exercise self-efficacy, exercise adherence, improvement in frailty, and improvement in cardiac function. Results: After the intervention, the exercise fear scores and Tilburg Frailty Scale scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The scores for exercise self-efficacy, exercise adherence, 6-minute walk distance, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: A rehabilitation program based on exercise risk stratification can effectively reduce exercise fear in patients with chronic heart failure, enhance their exercise self-efficacy and adherence, improve exercise tolerance, and enhance cardiac function.
