Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effect of the rapid-track medical-nursing collaboration model based on team resource management in patients with liver cirrhosis complicated by esophageal and gastric variceal hemorrhage. Methods: A total of 148 patients with liver cirrhosis complicated by esophageal and gastric variceal hemorrhage admitted to our hospital's emergency department from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, 74 cases each. The control group received traditional emergency nursing care, while the observation group received the rapid-track medical-nursing collaboration model based on team resource management. The time for blood sampling and testing, emergency department length of stay, treatment effectiveness, and liver function and coagulation function indicators were compared between the two groups. Results: After intervention, the observation group had shorter blood sampling and testing time and emergency department length of stay compared to the control group, and a higher effective rate of treatment, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The observation group had lower levels of total bilirubin (TBiL), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), direct bilirubin (DBiL), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), and prothrombin time (PT), and higher platelet count (PLT) compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.001). Conclusion: The rapid-track medical-nursing collaboration model based on team resource management can shorten the time for blood sampling and testing and emergency department length of stay in patients with liver cirrhosis complicated by esophageal and gastric variceal hemorrhage, improve treatment effectiveness, and enhance liver function and coagulation function.
