Research progress on the needs for supportive care in patients with liver cancer

Abstract：Supportive care needs include physiological and daily life needs, health system and information needs, psychological needs, patient care and support needs, as well as sexual needs. The supportive care needs of liver cancer patients show a dynamic change trend at different stages of treatment. Understanding the level of supportive care needs of liver cancer patients helps to improve their treatment compliance and quality of life. This study reviews the definition, content, assessment tools, and suggestions and prospects of supportive care needs for liver cancer patients, aiming to provide a basis for more accurate, scientific, and systematic nursing interventions for liver cancer patients.
