Abstract:Objective:To retrieve, evaluate, and synthesize the best available evidence on early oral feeding after laparoscopic cholecystectomy,so as to enhance healthcare professionals'awareness and provide basis for clinical care decisions. Methods:Relevant literature on early oral feeding after laparoscopic cholecystectomy was retrieved from guideline websites and databases including UpToDate,BMJ Best Practice,NICE,SIGN,Cochrane Library,PubMed,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,CBM,Web of Science, and Shanghai Evidence-Based Nursing Resource Database. The search period spanned from January 1,2016,to December 31,2024.Two researchers independently screened and assessed the quality of the literature, extracting evidence from eligible studies. Results:A total of 9 articles were included:3 guidelines,1 clinical decision aid,3 expert consensus documents,1 evidence summary, and 1 Meta-analysis.A total of 11 best evidence statements were synthesized across 5 domains:timing and types of early oral feeding, contraindications, clinical strategies, safety and clinical benefits, and tolerance assurance and assessment. Conclusion:Existing research evidence confirms the safety and efficacy of early oral feeding after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Healthcare providers are advised to reference the best evidence from this study to standardize postoperative feeding management and promote the rapid recovery of patients.
