Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of the integrated medical and nursing early rehabilitation nursing model on patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain after stroke. Methods: A total of 160 patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain after stroke admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to October 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 80 cases. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received integrated medical and nursing early rehabilitation nursing intervention on top of the control group. The changes in negative emotions, pain levels, rehabilitation effects, and quality of life between the two groups before and after intervention were observed. Results: After intervention, the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.001); the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score was lower, and the active range of motion of the affected shoulder joint was greater than that of the control group (P < 0.001). The total score and all dimension scores of the quality of life scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.001). Conclusion: Implementing the integrated medical and nursing early rehabilitation nursing model in patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain after stroke can significantly improve negative emotions and pain, and effectively enhance the functional recovery of the affected limb, thereby improving the quality of life.
