Abstract:Objective: To systematically sort out the needs for continuity of care services during chemotherapy intervals in cancer patients through a range review, aiming to clarify the content of the needs. Methods: Relevant studies on the needs for continuity of care services during chemotherapy intervals in cancer patients were systematically retrieved from PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, China Biological Medicine Database, CNKI, VIP Database, and Wanfang Database. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to March 30, 2025, and the literature was screened and information extracted. Results: A total of 20 studies were included. The patients' needs included six dimensions: symptom care needs, disease treatment information needs, daily life guidance needs, venous access maintenance needs, social support needs, and platform module construction needs. In addition, most existing studies used self-made questionnaires, with insufficient application of standardized tools, and the majority were cross-sectional designs, making it difficult to dynamically track the evolution of needs. Conclusion: The nursing needs during chemotherapy intervals have characteristics of diversity and complexity. It is necessary to combine precise assessment tools and multidimensional intervention strategies to form a continuity of care model, thereby improving the quality of life of patients.
