Abstract:Objective: To conduct a scoping review of the application of prehabilitation in patients with colorectal cancer before surgery, providing reference for developing effective prehabilitation intervention plans. Methods: Based on the methodological framework of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Scoping Review Guidelines for Evidence-Based Healthcare, literature was searched from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database, Chinese Biological Medicine Literature Database, VIP Database, PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and CINAHL, with a search period from the establishment of the databases to June 2025. The retrieved literature was screened and data were extracted. Results: A total of 22 articles were included, including 8 Chinese articles and 14 English articles, published between 2017 and 2025. The intervention contents of prehabilitation for patients with colorectal cancer before surgery included nutritional intervention, exercise intervention, psychological care, smoking cessation, and other interventions; outcome indicators included physiological function, psychological status, and feasibility of the program. Conclusion: Prehabilitation intervention plans have positive effects on patients with colorectal cancer. Future research should further explore and optimize prehabilitation programs, establish standardized assessment systems and indicators, provide personalized prehabilitation plans for patients, and continuously monitor the effectiveness of prehabilitation through dynamic assessments to ensure the smooth progress of the rehabilitation process.
