Abstract:Objective: To explore the acupoint selection patterns in the treatment of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis of spleen-stomach cold deficiency syndrome using acupuncture, moxibustion, acupoint embedding, acupoint patching, acupoint injection, acupoint massage, umbilical therapy, meridian cupping, and tuina. Methods: A systematic search was conducted in PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, and China Biological Medicine Database from their establishment up to June 2024 for literature on acupoint therapy for chronic atrophic gastritis. An Excel 2021 database was established to describe the frequency of acupoint use, meridian classification, distribution areas, and specific acupoints. SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Modeler 18.0 were used for association rule and cluster analysis of high-frequency acupoints. Results: A total of 233 articles were included, extracting 82 prescriptions and 42 acupoints, with a total usage frequency of 517 times. The top three acupoints by frequency were Zusanli (ST36), Zhongwan (CV12), and Neiguan (PC6). The top three meridians by frequency were the Conception Vessel, Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian, and Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian. The top three body regions by frequency were the chest and abdomen, lower limbs, and back and waist. Among specific acupoints, the most frequently used were intersecting acupoints. Common acupoint combinations included Zusanli-Neiguan, Zhongwan-Neiguan, and Zhongwan-Neiguan-Zusanli, forming five clusters. Conclusion: Data mining can effectively analyze the acupoint selection patterns in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis, and it can be combined with the principles of 'meridian-based selection' and 'near-far acupoint combination' to provide reference for clinical nursing staff in acupoint selection.
