Abstract：This review summarizes the research progress on the impact of nursing workload and staffing levels on the safety of patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and proposes various solutions, including reasonable staffing, optimization of nursing workload, and the introduction of systematic training and support measures to improve overall nursing quality. Future research should focus on developing more accurate assessment tools for nursing workload and staffing levels to optimize human resource management.
