Abstract:Objective:To retrieve, analyze, and summarize relevant evidence on the prevention of unplanned Inadvertent Perioperative Hypothermia(IPH)in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery,in order to reduce the incidence of unplanned IPH in laparoscopic surgery patients and to provide a reference for clinical medical staff. Methods:Based on the evidence pyramid model, the relevant literature was retrieved from databases.Literature quality was assessed using the evidence grading system of the Australian JBI Center for Evidence-Based Healthcare Rating System to determine the level of evidence. The search period was from the inception of databases to June 30,2024.Results:A total of 13 studies were included, and 16 best evidence items were extracted across 5 dimensions, including risk assessment of unplanned IPH in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery, temperature monitoring, ambient temperature, passive warming measures, and active warming measures. Conclusions:This summary of evidence on preventing unplanned IPH during laparoscopic surgery can provide simple principles and practical recommendations for operating room nurses, helping to reduce the incidence of intraoperative hypothermia.
