Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of tongue pressure-resisted mandibular exercise combined with acid-cold stimulation on the prognosis of patients with dysphagia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: A total of 152 patients with dysphagia caused by hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to October 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 76 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received a nursing program combining tongue pressure-resisted mandibular exercise with acid-cold stimulation. The swallowing function, nutritional status, and aspiration incidence rate before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results: After intervention, the water swallowing test rating of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the aspiration incidence rate was also lower, with higher serum albumin and hemoglobin levels in the observation group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Tongue pressure-resisted mandibular exercise combined with acid-cold stimulation can effectively improve the swallowing function of patients with dysphagia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, enhance their nutritional status, and reduce the incidence of aspiration.
