Abstract:Objective:To explore the practical effect of constructing an evidence-based nursing plan for preventing central venous catheter embolism in hemodialysis patients.Methods:110 patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent hemodialysis in our hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to the order of admission, with 55 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the study group received evidence-based nursing care.Compare the cognitive level of medical staff on the management of venous catheter embolism in hemodialysis centers, the adequacy of hemodialysis before and after intervention in two groups, and calculate the incidence of venous catheter embolism in hemodialysis centers. Results:After intervention, medical staff in the research group scored higher than those in the control group in terms of knowledge and behavior regarding the management of central venous catheter embolism. The Kt/V values of the research group at the 4th and 8th weeks of hemodialysis were higher than those of the control group. The incidence of central venous catheter embolism in the research group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Evidence based nursing interventions for patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis could significantly improve the cognitive level of medical staff regarding the management of central venous catheter embolism in hemodialysis, enhance the adequacy of hemodialysis, and reduce the incidence of central venous catheter embolism.
