Abstract:Objective: To explore the predictive value of clinical data and nutritional indicators in predicting intraoperative pressure injury (IPI) in patients undergoing laparoscopic rectal cancer radical surgery. Methods: A total of 200 patients who underwent laparoscopic rectal cancer radical surgery at our hospital from January 1, 2022, to January 1, 2024, were selected as the study subjects. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to investigate the influencing factors of IPI in these patients, and the predictive value of each factor was evaluated. Results: Among the 200 patients, 41 developed IPI, with an incidence rate of 20.5%. Multivariate analysis showed that preoperative Braden score, duration of surgery, duration of pneumoperitoneum, use of preventive dressings, preoperative nutritional risk screening (NRS 2002) score, and preoperative serum albumin level were independent risk factors for IPI in patients undergoing laparoscopic rectal cancer radical surgery (P < 0.05). The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) for preoperative Braden score, duration of surgery, duration of pneumoperitoneum, use of preventive dressings, preoperative NRS 2002 score, and preoperative serum albumin were 0.754, 0.759, 0.702, 0.777, 0.839, and 0.705, respectively. The combined prediction AUC was 0.866. Conclusion: Multiple factors are closely related to IPI in patients undergoing laparoscopic rectal cancer radical surgery, and the superiority of multi-factorial combined prediction in reducing the risk of IPI was confirmed, providing a basis for individualized prevention in clinical practice.
