Abstract:Objective: To construct a quality-sensitive indicator system for enteral nutrition in patients undergoing prone positioning based on the integrated medical-nursing model, providing reference for continuous quality improvement and patient safety management in clinical practice. Methods: Based on literature review and group discussion, an indicator system was formulated according to Donabedian's structure-process-outcome three-dimensional quality evaluation model, and then modified and improved through two rounds of Delphi expert consultation. Finally, a quality-sensitive indicator system for enteral nutrition in patients undergoing prone positioning was established. Results: The positive response rates of experts in both rounds of consultation were 100%, the judgment coefficients were both 0.990, the familiarity coefficients were both 0.919, the authority coefficients were both 0.955, and the Kendall's coefficient of concordance were 0.310 and 0.364 (both P < 0.001). After two rounds of expert consultation, the final constructed quality-sensitive indicator system for enteral nutrition in patients undergoing prone positioning included 3 first-level indicators, 7 second-level indicators, and 29 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The constructed quality-sensitive indicator system for enteral nutrition in patients undergoing prone positioning is scientific and operational, which is helpful for improving and enhancing the management of enteral nutrition in these patients.
