Abstract:Objective: To analyze the impact of the rational behavior-family synchronized education model on self-management, health behaviors, and self-efficacy in kidney transplant recipients. Methods: A total of 116 patients who underwent kidney transplantation at our hospital from January 2023 to May 2024 were selected as the study subjects. Patients who underwent kidney transplantation between January 2023 and August 2023 (n=58) were assigned to the control group and received routine care and health education. Patients who underwent kidney transplantation between September 2023 and May 2024 (n=58) were assigned to the observation group and received rational behavior-family synchronized education. The self-management score, health behavior score, psychological state score, self-efficacy score, and incidence of postoperative complications (such as infection and rejection) were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results: After intervention, the self-management score, health behavior score, and self-efficacy score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while the psychological state score was lower, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications (postoperative infection and rejection) between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The rational behavior-family synchronized education model can improve the self-management ability and health behaviors of kidney transplant recipients, correct adverse psychological states, and enhance self-efficacy.
