Application progress of light therapy in elderly patients with depression

Abstract：This paper reviews the concept, types, implementation plans, development history, potential mechanisms, and application of light therapy in elderly patients with depression, further discussing the existing shortcomings of light therapy in the treatment of elderly depression, providing a reference for enhancing the clinical care's attention to elderly depression and deepening the research on light therapy in elderly depression in China.
