Abstract:Objective:To compare the effects of Ba Duan Jin,Tai Chi,Liu Zi Jue,Gui Xing Gong,Wu Qin Xi,and traditional exercise combined with resistance training on lung function and activity endurance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:Literature related to COPD exercise was systematically searched retrieved in CNKI,WanFang Data,CBM,VIP,PubMed,EMbase,Cochrane Library, and Web of Science from January 1,2010 to April 1,2022.Two researchers independently screened the included literature, evaluated the quality using the Cochrane Manual for Systematic Reviews, and conducted network Meta-analysis using R 4.1 and ADDIS software. Results:A total of 22 articles were included, involving 1 580 research subjects. The network Meta-analysis results showed that compared with the routine care,Ba Duan Jin,Tai Chi,Gui Xing Gong,Wu Qin Xi,and combined resistance exercise can improve the forced expiratory volume in 1 second percentage of predicted value(FEV1%)level of COPD patients and prolong the 6 min walking distance(6WMT).Wu Qin Xi and combined resistance exercise can better improve the ratio of forced expiratory volume in 1 second to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC%)level.Probability results indicated Liu Zi Jue,Wu Qin Xi,and combined resistance exercise are better for improving the lung function of COPD patients among the traditional Chinese medicine exercises.Gui Xing Gong and combined resistance exercise have a better effect on prolonging 6WMT.Conclusions:Existing evidence shows that traditional Chinese medicine exercises could improve the lung function and exercise tolerance of COPD patients.Clinicians should select appropriate training methods according to the patient's conditions.
