Abstract：This paper discusses the current status of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots in the social communication of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from aspects such as overview, advantages, application research, limitations, and ethical challenges, aiming to provide theoretical and practical references for AI-assisted intervention research on ASD in China.
