Construction of an evidence-based practice plan for perioperative nursing of MECT patients with mental disorders based on the best evidence

Abstract：Objective:To construct an evidence-based practice plan for perioperative nursing of patients with mental disorders undergoing modified electroconvulsive therapy.Methods:The PIPOST model was adopted to establish evidence-based problems.Systematic searches were conducted in domestic and foreign databases,guideline websites,and association websites for literature on MECT perioperative care,following the"6S"evidence pyramid model.Article that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria was independently screened,evaluated and integrated with relevant evidence by two nursing master's students who had completed the training of evidence-based nursing.Hold a meeting of the expert group.Review the clinical applicability of the aggregated evidence.After revision,the final version of the evidence-based practice plan for perioperative nursing of MECT patients with mental disorders was formed.Results:A total of 7 articles were included,including 2 clinical decisions,2 guidelines and 3 expert consensuses.The constructed evidence-based practice plan of MECT perioperative nursing for patients with mental disorders includes a total of 25 pieces of evidence in 5 aspects:an overview of MECT nursing,preoperative nursing,intraoperative nursing,postoperative nursing and health education.The enthusiasm of the experts is 100%,and the authority coefficient is 0.871.Conclusion:This study constructs an evidence-based practice plan of MECT perioperative nursing for patients with mental disorders based on the best evidence.The plan is comprehensive,complete and easy to understand.It has strong scientific nature and clinical applicability.The recommendation is clear and explicit.It can provide reference and guidance for professionals in medical institutions.
