Abstract：This article introduces the current application status of physical restraints in alert patients receiving mechanical ventilation in the ICU, their impact on patients, and related influencing factors, and proposes corresponding nursing strategies, aiming to provide a reference for the restraint management of alert patients receiving mechanical ventilation in Chinese ICU settings.
