Abstract:Objective: This study aims to conduct a scoping review of the factors influencing symptom clusters in patients with heart failure, in order to provide a scientific basis for the management of symptoms in heart failure. Methods: This study followed the PRISMA-ScR reporting guidelines as the methodological framework. A systematic search was conducted in databases including Web of Science, PubMed, EMbase, the Cochrane Library, EBSCO, MedLine, CINAHL, Scopus, the American Psychological Association (APA), China Biological Medicine Database, CNKI, Wanfang Database, and VIP Database, with a search period from the establishment of the database to April 20, 2024. After strict screening, the included and excluded literature were analyzed. Results: A total of 19 studies were included. The factors influencing symptom clusters in patients with heart failure include demographic factors, disease-related factors, medication factors, environmental factors, and stress-related factors. Symptom clusters show a dynamic change trend at different stages. Conclusion: Symptom clusters in patients with heart failure are influenced by multiple factors. Future research should focus on longitudinal, large-sample, multi-center studies to further explore the characteristics of the evolution of symptom clusters over time.
