Effect of cluster nursing strategy based on evidence-based summary on prognosis and complications of patients with esophageal variceal sequential ligation therapy

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of cluster nursing strategy based on evidence-based summary on the prognosis and complications of patients with esophageal variceal sequential ligation therapy.Methods:Using convenience sampling method,160 patients with esophageal variceal ligation in our hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into control group and study group according to the order of admission,with 80 patients in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,while the research group was given cluster nursing intervention based on evidence-based evidence summary in addition to routine care.The expected period was from hospitalization to 3 months after discharged.The incidence of postoperative complications,disease management ability and disease recurrence were compared between the two groups.Results:After the intervention,the total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the scores of patients'disease management ability in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.001).Six months postoperatively,the recurrence rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cluster nursing strategy based on evidence-based summary can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,improve the patient's disease management ability and reduce the disease recurrence rate.
