Influencing factors of psychological resilience in maintenance hemodialysis patients:a Meta-analysis

Abstract:Objective:To identify the influencing factors of psychological resilience in maintenance hemodialysis patients through Meta-analysis.Methods:Computerized searches were conducted for studies on the influencing factors of psychological resilience in hemodialysis patients was retrieved from VIP,CNKI,WanFang Data,CBM,EMbase,Web of Science,PubMed,the Cochrane Library,PsycInfo,and Scopus.The retrieval time was from the inception to November 2024.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 and Stata 17.0.Results:A total of 37 articles were included,including 6 584 hemodialysis patients.Twenty-two influencing factors were extracted,with gender,marital status,family relationship,monthly household income,degree of education level,dialysis duration,self-perceived burden,social support,post-traumatic growth,quality of life,hope level,coping styles,stress perception,treatment adherence,and frailty being identified as the main influencing factors(P<0.05).Conclusion:Current evidence shows that the psychological resilience of hemodialysis patients is influenced by various factors.Healthcare providers should conduct early assessments and interventions targeting the factors related to psychological resilience to improve the psychological resilience and,consequently,the quality of life of hemodialysis patients.
