Abstract:Objective: To construct a scientific, reasonable, and feasible health education program for elderly patients with T-tube after biliary stone surgery, providing reference for clinical nursing staff to implement systematic and comprehensive health education for elderly patients with T-tube after discharge. Methods: Based on the LEARNS health education model, the initial draft of the health education program was formed through literature review, semi-structured interviews, and multiple rounds of group discussions. The Delphi expert consultation method was used to integrate expert opinions and form a scientifically sound, reasonable, and widely applicable health education program for elderly patients with T-tube after biliary stone surgery. Results: A total of 15 experts participated in two rounds of expert consultation, with expert participation rates of 93.75% and 100.00%, respectively. The expert authority coefficients were 0.86 and 0.89, and the Kendall's coefficient of concordance were 0.304 and 0.446, respectively. The final constructed health education program includes 9 first-level indicators and 45 second-level indicators. Conclusion: The health education program for elderly patients with T-tube after biliary stone surgery constructed based on the LEARNS model is scientific and scalable, and can provide reference and practical guidance for clinical nursing staff to implement systematic and standardized health education.
