Abstract:Objective: To conduct a scoping review of the application of exercise intervention in lower limb lymphedema in patients with gynecological malignant tumors, aiming to provide references for clinical medical staff to develop standardized exercise programs. Methods: According to the framework of scoping review by Arksey and O'Malley, systematic searches were conducted in databases including CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, China Biological Medicine Database, Web of Science, PubMed, The Cochrane Library, and EMbase, with the search period from the establishment of the database to May 3, 2024. Two researchers independently screened and extracted data from the included literature, and a third researcher resolved any discrepancies. Results: A total of 23 studies were included, among which 11 were randomized controlled trials and 12 were quasi-experimental studies. Exercise intervention programs for lower limb lymphedema involved exercise types, duration, intensity, frequency, intervention period, and outcome indicators. Conclusion: Exercise intervention has a positive effect on alleviating lower limb lymphedema in patients with gynecological malignant tumors. However, future efforts should consider individual patient conditions to develop personalized exercise programs, reduce adverse events, and improve patients' quality of life.
