Abstract:Objective:To summarize the relevant evidence of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and management for patients with diabetic foot and provide an evidence-based basis for diabetic foot care. Methods:Relevant evidence was retrieved from domestic and foreign databases and relevant websites, including guidelines, clinical decision-making,systematic reviews, evidence summaries, expert consensus, and randomized controlled trials(RCTs).The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to November 30,2023.Multiple researchers independently assessed the quality of the literature, extracted and integrated the evidence information included in the literature. Results:A total of 23 articles were included, including 3 guidelines,2 clinical decision-making,14 systematic reviews, and 4 expert consensuses.A total of 21 pieces of evidence were summarized from 7 aspects:indications, treatment timing, treatment preparation, treatment points, treatment effects, effect evaluation, and economic benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Conclusions:The summarized evidence on hyperbaric oxygen therapy and management of diabetic foot patients could provide an evidence-based basis for diabetic foot care.Clinical nursing staff should consider the actual situation of patients when applying and transforming evidence, formulate personalized treatment plans, and improve the clinical outcomes of diabetic foot patients.
