Abstract：This article comprehensively discusses the concept, current status, assessment tools, and influencing factors of multimorbidity in the elderly. It points out the shortcomings of existing assessment tools for elderly patients with comorbidities and emphasizes the importance of implementing a multidisciplinary nursing model in improving the quality of life of elderly patients with multiple chronic diseases.
