Abstract：Patient journey maps, as an emerging management tool, are mainly used for patient experience management and have shown great potential in the management of chronic disease patients. This study mainly reviews the overview of patient journey maps, the implementation process, the effectiveness of their application in chronic diseases, the existing shortcomings, and future prospects, aiming to provide reference for subsequent research.
