Abstract：This article reviews the concept of comprehensive geriatric assessment, the development of comprehensive geriatric assessment tools, and their current application in the health management of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes. The aim is to further improve the long-term health care system for chronic diseases, provide references for future in-depth research and application of comprehensive geriatric assessment technology in the field of chronic disease nursing in China, and contribute to achieving healthy aging.
