Abstract:Objective: To conduct a scoping review of dietary etiological factors of chronic gastritis, providing reference for early prevention and dietary intervention of chronic gastritis. Methods: Using the framework of scoping review methodology, relevant literature was retrieved from PubMed, EMbase, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP Database, and Wanfang Database, with the search period from the establishment of the database to July 13, 2024. The included literature was screened, summarized, and analyzed. Results: A total of 18 articles were included, summarizing three etiological themes, including food (spicy diet, high-salt diet, etc.), beverages (alcohol, carbonated drinks, etc.), and dietary habits (irregular diet, overeating, etc.). Conclusion: The dietary etiological factors of chronic gastritis are complex and diverse, with some factors still under debate. Future research is needed to clarify these etiological factors and explore the causal relationship between dietary factors and the development of chronic gastritis. This will provide a theoretical basis for formulating scientific and reasonable dietary intervention strategies, thereby effectively reducing the incidence of chronic gastritis and improving the quality of life of patients.
