Daytime chemotherapy management model in China:a scoping review

Abstract:Objective: To conduct a scoping review of the current research on daytime chemotherapy management models in China, providing references for the optimization and development of future daytime chemotherapy management. Methods: Using the framework of scoping review methodology, literature related to the current status of daytime chemotherapy management models in China was retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang Database, and VIP Database. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to December 31, 2023. Data from the included literature were screened, collected, summarized, analyzed, and reported. Results: A total of 31 papers were included, mainly descriptive studies. The number of research papers increased gradually after 2016, with the most abundant research coming from Shanghai and Beijing. The study subjects mainly involved patients with breast cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, and hematological diseases undergoing daytime chemotherapy. Conclusion: Implementing a daytime chemotherapy management model can improve patients' quality of life, effectively utilize medical resources, and enhance medical work efficiency.
