Abstract：This paper reviews the concept of the sense of overqualification, assessment tools, current status, influencing factors, and negative impacts of overqualification among nurses. It proposes strategies to address the sense of overqualification from both individual and organizational perspectives, aiming to provide references for nursing managers to reduce the sense of overqualification among nurses, improve the quality of nursing management, and stabilize the development of the nursing workforce.
