Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on frozen gait of patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods:RCTS on the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation to intervene in the frozen gait of Parkinson's patients were retrieved from CNKI,WanFang Database,VIP,Chinese Medical Journal Full-Text Database,PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase, and the Cochrane Library. The search period was from the establishment of the database to August 15,2024.The 5.1.0 version of the Cochrane Collaboration quality assessment tool was adopted to evaluate the quality of the included literature.RevMan 5.4 software was adopted for data extraction.Stata 16.0 software was adopted for publication bias assessment. Results:A total of 14 RCTs were included, involving 664 patients with Parkinson's disease. Some literature did not report the concealment and blinding of intervention program allocation. The results of the Meta-analysis showed that repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation could reduce the FOG-Q score(SMD=-0.92,95%CI-1.35--0.49,P<0.000 1),TUGT time(SMD=-0.68,95%CI-1.22--0.13,P=0.01)and UPDRS Ⅲ score(SMD=-0.79,95%CI-1.19--0.38,P=0.000 2)of Parkinson's patients. Conclusion:Existing evidence shows repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation can improve the freezing gait of patients with Parkinson's disease, but it is limited by the quantity and quality of the included literature. The research results still require high-quality and large-sample studies to verify the optimal intervention conditions and long-term efficacy.
