Abstract:Objective:To systematically evaluate the risk factors for postoperative delirium in children with general anesthesia, and to provide a reference for the prevention and control of postoperative delirium in hospitalized children. Methods:Relevant literature was retrieved from CNKI,WanFang Database,VIP,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, and EMbase from the establishment of the database to May 31,2024.Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted data, and evaluated the quality of the literature. The RevMan 5.4 software was used for analysis. Results:A total of 15 articles were included, involving 4 383 patients,of which 1 057 children had postoperative delirium. The Meta-analysis results showed that age, developmental delay, preoperative anxiety, postoperative pain, mechanical ventilation, and indwelling catheters were risk factors for postoperative delirium in children with general anesthesia. Conclusions:Existing evidence showes that age, developmental delay, preoperative anxiety, postoperative pain, mechanical ventilation, and indwelling catheters were risk factors for postoperative delirium in children with general anesthesia.Nurses should conduct early screening and dynamic evaluation of children and take targeted and individualized intervention measures to prevent the occurrence of postoperative delirium.
