Construction of a treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis based on the Ottawa decision support framework

Abstract：Objective:To construct a treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis.Methods:A research team was formed to construct a treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis based on the Ottawa decision support framework the international standards for patient decision-making aid tools.A treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis will be constructed through literature review,Delphi expert correspondence,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview,and user evaluation.Results:Two rounds of correspondence were conducted,with a 100%effective recovery rate and a 0.918 authority coefficient.The Kendall's W of the two rounds were 0.224 and 0.244,respectively(P<0.001).The user evaluation results showed that the tool had good acceptability and practicality.The final treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis included 3 primary items,7 secondary items,and 35 tertiary items.Conclusions:The constructed treatment decision-making aid tool for patients with aortic stenosis is scientific and practical.
