Influencing factors of quality of life for patients after hip replacement surgery:a scoping review

Abstract:Objective: To conduct a scope review of factors influencing the quality of life of patients after hip arthroplasty, providing reference for clinical development of effective nursing measures. Methods: A systematic search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, EMbase, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database, VIP Database, and China Biomedical Literature Database for literature related to factors influencing the quality of life of patients after hip arthroplasty, with a search period from the establishment of the databases to February 2024. Results: A total of 24 studies were included. The factors influencing the quality of life of patients after hip arthroplasty include patient-related factors, pathological factors, socio-psychological factors, and other factors. Conclusion: The factors influencing the quality of life of patients after hip arthroplasty are multifaceted. There are differences in the research results on the factors influencing the quality of life of patients after hip arthroplasty in different countries and regions. In clinical practice, targeted intervention measures should be taken according to specific situations.
