Abstract:Objective:To retrieve, evaluate, and integrate relevant evidence on non-pharmacological management of patients with generalized anxiety disorder. Methods:A systematic search for literature on non-pharmacological management of patients with generalized anxiety disorder in domestic and foreign computer decision-making systems, guideline websites, professional association websites and databases, were conducted with a search deadline starting from April 2024 when the database was established.Totally 3 researchers independently conducted literature screening and quality evaluation, extracting, summarizing, and consolidating evidence based on the topic. Results:A total of 23 articles were included, including 4 clinical decisions,2 evidence summaries,11 guidelines,4 systematic reviews, and 2 randomized controlled trials.Ultimately,28 pieces of best evidence were formed from 8 aspects:treatment alliance, management goals and principles, comprehensive evaluation, psychological intervention, exercise intervention, traditional Chinese medicine nursing, physical intervention, and patient guidance. Conclusion:This study summarizes the best evidence for non pharmacological management in patients with generalized anxiety disorder. It is recommended that psychiatric nursing staff should select and apply evidence in a targeted manner based on clinical context and patient preferences during the subsequent evidence conversion process to improve patient prognosis.
