Abstract:Objective: To construct a sensitive indicator system for the quality of bedside shift handover nursing, providing reference for the management, monitoring, and evaluation of the quality of bedside shift handover nursing. Methods: Through literature review, based on the three-dimensional quality evaluation model of 'structure-process-outcome', the preliminary formulation of sensitive indicators for the quality of bedside shift handover nursing, their calculation formulas, and data collection methods were proposed. Two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were conducted with 27 selected experts to build the sensitive indicator system for bedside shift handover nursing quality. Results: The effective recovery rate of the first round of questionnaires was 96.2%, and that of the second round was 100.0%. The authority coefficients of the experts were 0.91 and 0.96, respectively. Kendall's coefficient of concordance were 0.127 and 0.081, respectively. Finally, a sensitive indicator system for bedside shift handover nursing quality was formed, including 3 first-level indicators, 8 second-level indicators, and 16 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The sensitive indicator system constructed in this study supervises the quality of bedside shift handover nursing from three aspects: structural quality, process quality, and outcome quality. It conforms to the principles of scientific, reliable, and credible, and can be used to evaluate the quality of bedside shift handover nursing and promote the improvement of its quality.
