Abstract:Objective: To explore the current status and influencing factors of lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in postpartum women after cesarean section. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to select 152 postpartum women who underwent cesarean section at the Department of Obstetrics of The Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Suzhou Hospital, from December 2021 to December 2022. A general information questionnaire and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale were used for investigation. Logistic regression analysis was employed to explore the influencing factors of DVT after cesarean section, and its predictive value was evaluated. Results: Among the 152 postpartum women, 21 cases (13.82%) developed lower limb DVT. Logistic regression analysis showed that pregnancy complications, postpartum bed rest time, serum D-dimer level, postpartum depression, and social support were significant influencing factors for DVT after cesarean section (P < 0.05). The areas under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) for predicting DVT after cesarean section were 0.784, 0.737, 0.749, 0.842, and 0.734, respectively, all greater than 0.7. The combined predictive value of these variables was significantly higher than that of a single indicator, with an AUC of 0.859. Conclusion: The risk of lower limb DVT in postpartum women after cesarean section is relatively high and results from multiple factors working together. Clinically, it is necessary to develop proactive management plans from various perspectives and levels to reduce the risk of DVT and ensure the safety of postpartum women.
