Construction of nursing quality evaluation index system of chest pain center based on structure-process-result model

Abstract：Objective: To construct a nursing quality evaluation index system for chest pain centers based on the structure-process-outcome model, providing quantitative evaluation indicators for the nursing quality of chest pain centers. Methods: Guided by the three-dimensional quality evaluation theory of structure-process-outcome, an initial draft of the nursing quality evaluation index system for chest pain centers was formulated through literature review and focus group meeting results from March 2021 to October 2022. A two-round Delphi expert consultation was conducted with 15 experts, and finally, the nursing quality evaluation index system for chest pain centers was established. Results: The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of expert questionnaires were both 93.33%, with expert authority coefficients of 0.90 and 0.92, and Kendall's coefficient of concordance of 0.222 and 0.254 (both P < 0.001). Finally, a nursing quality evaluation index system for chest pain centers was formed, consisting of 3 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators, and 37 third-level indicators. The importance scores of each level of indicators ranged from 4.29 to 5.00, with a coefficient of variation ranging from 0.000 to 0.140. Conclusion: The nursing quality evaluation index system for chest pain centers constructed in this study has certain scientific and reliable characteristics, which can provide references for improving the nursing quality of chest pain centers, improving patient outcomes, and the construction and development of chest pain centers.
