Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of evidence-based multidimensional management strategies in patients with atlantoaxial malformation undergoing nasogastric feeding. Methods:Sixty eligible patients with atlantoaxial malformation who were admitted to our neurosurgery intensive care unit from July 2023 to February 2024 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 30 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received evidence-based multidimensional management strategies based on the control group.During the period when the gastric tube was indwelling in the patient, the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results:There were statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in the success rate of one-time catheterization, adverse reactions, gastric tube retention time, and patient satisfaction between the two groups of patients after a single catheterization. Conclusion:Implementing evidence-based multidimensional management strategies for patients with atlantoaxial malformation undergoing nasogastric feeding can effectively improve the success rate of one-time catheterization, reduce adverse reactions, shorten the duration of gastric tube placement, improve patient satisfaction, and accelerate the patient's recovery process.
