Abstract:Objective: Based on data mining technology, this study analyzed the acupoint selection and combination rules of ear point pressing therapy for allergic rhinitis. Methods: Literature related to ear point pressing therapy for allergic rhinitis was retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang Database, China Biological Medicine Database, PubMed, and Web of Science, with a time range from the establishment of the database to May 8, 2023. An ear acupoint database for the treatment of allergic rhinitis with ear point pressing therapy was established using Excel. SPSS 25.0 was used for frequency statistics of the acupoints, and SPSS Modeler 18.0 was used for association rule analysis to describe the combination rules among the acupoints. Results: A total of 123 articles were included. The syndrome types of allergic rhinitis were mainly deficiency syndromes, with lung qi cold deficiency and lung-spleen qi deficiency being the most common. A total of 37 ear acupoints were involved in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with ear point pressing therapy. The top three acupoints by frequency were Lung (12.63%), Internal Nose (12.07%), and Adrenal Gland (10.61%). Common combinations included Internal Nose-Lung and Lung-Adrenal Gland-Internal Nose. Conclusion: Data mining technology can effectively analyze the commonly used acupoints and their combination rules in ear point pressing therapy for allergic rhinitis, which is helpful for optimizing clinical acupoint prescriptions.
