Nurses'work experience during pregnancy:a Meta-integration

Abstract:Objective:To systematically evaluate the work experience of nurses during pregnancy.Methods:Databases and website such as CNKI,VIP,WanFang Database,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science,CINAHL,EMbase,Google Scholar,ProQuest,PsyINFO,and the Cochrane Library were searched and the timeframe was from construction to August 2023,Two researchers independently conducted literature screening,data extraction and quality evaluation,and collected and integrated the qualitative research results on the work experience of pregnant nurses.Results:15 articles were included to distill 100 outcomes,which were grouped into 10 categories and synthesized into 3 integrated outcomes:lack of job security,complex emotional experiences,and role adaptation and growth.Conclusion:Nurses'work experience and feelings during pregnancy are complex,and sufficient attention and support should be given at the family,social and hospital levels,and protective policies should be formulated to help to grow.
