Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the intervention effect of discharge plans on patients with myocardial infarction through Meta-analysis.Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on the application of discharge plans in patients with myocardial infarction were retrieved from PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,EMbase,CINAHL,CNKI,WanFang Database,VIP,and CBM.The search time limit was from the establishment of the database to January 31,2024.Two researchers independently performed literature screening, data extraction, and quality evaluation. The RevMan 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.Results:A total of 12 RCTs were included, involving 1 225 patients.Meta-analysis results showed that compared with routine care, discharge planning intervention could prevent adverse cardiac events(OR=0.31,95%CI 0.20-0.48,Z=5.21,P<0.001),reduce unplanned readmission rate(OR=0.31,95%CI 0.18-0.52,Z=4.41,P<0.001),improve left ventricular ejection function(MD=4.83,95%CI 3.09-6.58,Z=5.43,P<0.001),improve self-management ability(SMD=3.46,95%CI 2.45-4.46,Z=6.71,P<0.001),and improve blood pressure, blood lipids, body mass index and quality of life. Conclusions:Existing evidence shows that the application of discharge planning in patients with myocardial infarction can help prevent adverse cardiac events, reduce the rate of unplanned readmission, improve the control of general physical indicators and left ventricular ejection function, and improve self-management ability and quality of life.
