Systematic review of curative effect of bladder irrigation with different temperatures for reducing bladder spasm after transurethral prostate resection
Abstract:Objective:To evaluate statistically the curative effect of different temperatures of bladder rinse for bladder spasm after transurethral prostate resection. Methods:Cochrane library,Chinese biomedical literature database,Chinese science and technology periodical database,a database of ten thousand,PubMed and Springer were searched.Randomized controlled trials(RCT) were included on the effect of different temperatures of bladder rinse for bladder spasm after transurethral prostate resection. The qualitative analysis of the included studies was carried out after literature selection, data extraction and quality evaluation. Results:Participants included 9 randomized controlled trials with a total of 1228 cases.According to the Cochrane systematic review manual version 5.1 risk of bias assessment standards,5 papers belonged to higher quality, and 4 papers belonged to low quality.Because of the poor homogeneity of the study, this research only used the descriptive analysis. Results showed that 35 ℃ to 37 ℃ fluid compared with other temperatures of fluid could reduce efficiently the incidence of bladder spasm, spasm degree, bleeding complications and incidence of bladder bleeding. Conclusion:The 35 ℃ to 37 ℃ temperature of bladder rinses for bladder irrigation could effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications after transurethral prostate resection.
