Study on link quality management mode for improving safety of cancer patients after PICC

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the effect of link quality management for improving safety after PICC in pa-tients with cancer.Methods:A total of 256 cancer patients with intravenous chemotherapy indwelling peripheral-ly inserted central catheter(PICC)were selected from July 2014 to July 2015 in our department.Based on cathe-terization time successively,126 patients receiving PICC from July 2014 to January 2015 were selected as control group,130 cases of PICC patients from February 2015 to July 2015 were selected as the observation group.Rou-tine nursing care was used in control group,the link quality management was used in observation group,to compare the incidence of PICC complications between the two groups.Results:The incidence of complications af-ter PICC observation group was significantly lower than that in control group (χ2=30.7,P<0.05).Conclusion:Clutching nursing method of link quality management could significantly improve the safety of patients with cancer after PICC .
