Abstract:The research on the heat transfer characteristics of supercritical water has been developing rapidly since the beginning of the 21st century. This article summarizes the research on the heat transfer performance of supercritical water by domestic and foreign scholars in recent years, and systematically analyzes the effects of factors such as buoyancy, wall heat flux density, mass flow rate, and pressure on its flow and heat transfer characteristics.Numerous results indicate that changes in shear stress and radial flow velocity caused by buoyancy effects can lead to deterioration of heat transfer.Reducing heat flux density and increasing mass flow velocity can effectively improve heat transfer. At present,a general heat transfer equation for supercritical water has been proposed in research, but its applicability accuracy still needs to be further improved.
