Research on Treatment of Domestic Wastewater with Biological Aerated Filter

Abstract：In order to realize the design of fast integrated domestic sewage equipment ,this paper ex‐plores the operational mode and parameters of self‐developed biological filter column ,and compares its treatment effect with that of quartz sand filter column .The experiment results showed that the backwash frequency has a significant influence on biofilm ,and the flushing intensity and time are closely related to the biomass in the filter layer .When the hydraulic load is 3 .0 m3/m2 h and the filtration cycle control is 48 h with three‐stage joint backwash ,the suspension treatment obtains the best effect ,which not only pro‐motes the evenly re‐distribution of microorganisms within the filter column ,but also prompts the microbial community transition between the old and new .
