Effects of the Sub Dry Cooling Method on Cutting Force of Titanium Alloy

Abstract：Through the experiment of cutting titanium alloy on CA6140 lathe ,10 test groups with four factors and five levels were selected by orthogonal experimental method to compare the cutting force values between sub dry cutting and wet cutting under the same cutting parameters .Experiments showed that :un‐der the suitable cutting conditions ,sub dry cutting force value is less than the wet cutting force value and thus proved that the sub dry cutting can transcend the wet cutting .
