Abstract:Taking Ni60A ,TiC ,TiN and Co powder as the raw material ,the Ti(C、N)‐WC particle rein‐forced nickel composite coating was prepared from Q 235 steel plate with the argon‐arc cladding in‐situ syn‐thesis technology .Microstructure ,chemical composition ,hardness changes and tribological characteristics of the coating were studied .The asdeposited microstructure mainly consists of Ni‐rich γ(Ni ,Fe)phase ,Ti (C、N) ,WC ,and(Fe ,Cr)x C .Compared with that of the Q235 steel substrate ,the microhardness and wear resistance of the coating are 6 .5 and 10 times respectively .T he microhardness of composite coating is a de‐clining process from the surface to the center till the heat affected zone .The wear mechanism of Q235 steel is adhesive wear and abrasive wear ,while the wear form of composite coating is abrasive wear caused by debris as the third part .
